Sallyann Meadowcroft Sallyann Meadowcroft – Person Centred Counsellor – Lymm

My name is Sallyann. I’m a qualified person centred counsellor, in adult and children’s counselling. I have worked with adults, young people and children. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and fully committed to working within an ethical frame work.

Throughout my life I have worked in various retail settings and for many years been self-employed. Over fifteen years ago I completed an introductory course in person centred therapy, but was unable to do further training at that time in my life. My interest in counselling grew over the years and when my life circumstances permitted, I went back to training and fulfilled my ambition in becoming qualified.

I have worked in a community based practice in St Helen’s, a primary school and a women’s organisation attached to HMP and women at risk of offending. My areas of work have included, attachment, addiction, rape, sexual abuse, bereavement, anxiety, depression and low self-esteem.

I am dedicated to my own personal development, which involves a continuation of expanding my knowledge and further training in all client issues presented. I am passionate on many aspects and committed to researching, neuroscience, attachment in adults, young people and children.

I offer myself as a counsellor, for you the client to experience a warm genuine, empathic, none judgemental therapeutic relationship. Creating a positive, safe and trusting environment. To enable you to stumble, explore, grow and challenge your fears and issues. My goal is to promote growth, to walk alongside and hold you, in our journey together.
