Anne Woolley – Counsellor – Lymm
My name is Anne. I am the owner of Libertas Therapy Limited, based in Lymm, Cheshire. My goal is to offer you, the client, the opportunity to experience the sense of ‘stepping into’ a place of welcoming calm and positive energy. Together with my colleagues we endeavour to provide a safe environment to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I qualified and worked as a midwife many years ago, and whilst I enjoyed my work, I always felt that I wanted to explore the aspects of counselling and trained as a Person Centred Counsellor at the University of Chester. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
My areas of work have included bereavement, suicide, self harm, low self esteem, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, working with teenagers and young adults, and working with carers and people with life limiting illnesses.
I have worked within the National Health Service, Macmillan Service and with young adults at a high school.
My way of working is to offer you, the client, a non judgemental, empathic and genuine manner, in order to provide us with a trusting relationship.
